The film
Dear Darlene, is an eight-minute short drama released in 2025. In a letter that could be his last, Bruce, a soldier, looks back on Darlene, the poet who rewrote the verses of his life.
The team
It was written, directed and edited by Nabeel Renaaz, who I also co-wrote my MSc research paper with. Corinne Furman plays Darlene and Jack Chambers plays Bruce. Bonheur Media released it on YouTube.
My role
I was an executive producer on the film, alongside Nabeel. I helped fund it and worked on the production. It is a passion project, outside my main work.
