Context
Damos Animal Hospital is a veterinary hospital in Ikorodu, Lagos, and I worked there from 2018 to 2021. In 2026 they brought me back on contract to build their new website.
What the site does
It introduces the hospital, its services and its shop, with the clinic's own photographs of the storefront and shop. Staff edit the services, testimonials and shop categories themselves, without touching the code.
How it is built
- React 19 with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4 and React Router.
- Content lives in Supabase. Visitors can only read records marked active, enforced by row-level security in the database.
- The site also carries its own checked copy of the content, so it still works without the database.
- Hosted on Firebase. Every change to the main branch deploys automatically, and every pull request gets its own preview link.
What comes next
The site is the front end of a larger platform. Appointments, pet records, an online shop and a CRM are planned to sit behind it.
